Privacy Policy
Last updated: December 9, 2025
NeuroPop (“we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the NeuroPop mobile application (“App”).
By using NeuroPop, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the App.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Personal Information You Provide
NeuroPop does not require you to create an account and does not ask you to submit personal details such as:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Postal address
If you contact us directly by email for support, we receive the information you choose to share in that email (for example, your email address and message content) and use it only to respond to your request.
1.2 Usage & App Data (Stored Locally on Your Device)
NeuroPop is designed as an offline-first brain-training app. Most data is stored only on your device and is not sent to our servers.
This locally stored data may include:
- Game progress and performance in different activities
- Brain Coins balance and rewards
- Daily streak status and history
- Session statistics (accuracy, completion times, difficulty levels, etc.)
- App preferences and settings (for example sound, theme, difficulty)
1.3 Device and Technical Information
NeuroPop does not intentionally collect hardware identifiers such as IMEI or MAC address. However, certain integrated third-party services (for example, advertising SDKs or billing libraries) may collect limited device or technical information that is necessary for their operation, as described in Section 3.
2. How We Use Information
We use data that is generated inside the app for the following purposes:
- To run core game mechanics and brain-training exercises
- To track your progress, achievements, streaks, and Brain Coins
- To personalize difficulty or recommendations locally
- To ensure the app works correctly on your device
We do not sell, rent, or trade your data to any third parties.
3. Third-Party Services (Ads and Subscriptions)
Advertising and payments
NeuroPop uses third-party services to show ads and to process in-app purchases or subscriptions. These services operate under their own privacy policies and may collect certain information independently of us.
3.1 Advertising
The App may display advertisements served by third-party ad networks (for example, Google AdMob or similar providers). These networks may collect and process information such as:
- Device information (model, operating system version, language, screen information)
- Approximate location based on IP address
- Advertising identifiers (such as Google Advertising ID)
- Interaction data, such as ad views and clicks
This information is used by the ad providers to deliver, measure, and improve advertisements, and to help prevent fraud and abuse. We do not have direct access to the raw data collected by these networks.
You can manage ad-related preferences, limit ad tracking, or reset your advertising ID in your device settings, depending on your Android version.
3.2 Subscriptions and In-App Purchases
NeuroPop may offer premium content or features through subscriptions or one-time purchases. All payments are processed securely through the official app store platform (such as the Google Play Store).
The app store or its billing system may collect information needed to complete and manage purchases, such as:
- Country or region
- Purchase history and receipts
- Store account identifiers
We do not receive or store your full payment information, such as complete credit card numbers. We may receive confirmation that a purchase or subscription is active so we can unlock corresponding features inside the app.
4. Offline-First Design
NeuroPop is built so that most features work without an internet connection, including:
- Core brain-training and memory games
- Streak and progress tracking
- Brain Coins accumulation and usage
- Local performance statistics and history
Apart from limited communication required by third-party SDKs (for example, to load ads or validate purchases), we do not transmit your gameplay data to our own servers.
Remember: deleting or uninstalling the app will remove all NeuroPop data stored on your device.
5. Children’s Privacy
NeuroPop is intended for a general audience and is not specifically designed for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information through NeuroPop, please contact us using the details in the “Contact Us” section so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.
6. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data processed within the app, such as:
- Relying on the Android sandbox and operating system security features
- Storing only the information needed to run the app
- Avoiding direct collection of sensitive personal information
However, no system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
Game data, Brain Coins, streaks, and preferences are stored locally on your device for as long as NeuroPop remains installed and you continue to use it.
- If you uninstall or delete NeuroPop, all locally stored app data will be permanently erased and cannot be recovered.
- You can also clear app data from your device settings to reset the app to its initial state.
We do not keep separate server-side backups of your gameplay data.
8. Your Choices
You have several options for managing your data and privacy:
- Use device settings to manage app permissions and advertising preferences
- Control purchases and subscriptions through your app store account
- Clear the app’s data or uninstall NeuroPop to remove all locally stored game data
If you do not agree with how NeuroPop handles data as described in this policy, you should not use the App.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
Your continued use of NeuroPop after any changes are posted indicates that you accept those changes.
